This two-storey vertical extension was constructed onto a split level three/four-storey building, and previously served as a former government office building, before being converted to residential use in 2010. The new scheme, with rooftop extension, provides a total of 9 duplex apartment homes, and was completed whilst the units beneath remained occupied.
The Nexus light gauge steel framing system covers over 1000m² in floor area over two storeys, with the large open spaces requiring discreet primary steel framing to assist the LGS to ensure a flawless finish.
